Els has an extensive background as a results-focused, highly skilled consultant and trainer who has successfully worked with all levels of management across a wide range of industries, including financial services, pharmaceuticals, health care, energy, retail, manufacturing, and information technology. She has a distinctive focus and experience with global clients and multicultural audiences, and she delivers in English, French, Dutch, and German. Her areas of expertise are leadership and management development, team building, organization and people development, and cultural dilemma reconciliation.
Prior to joining The Ken Blanchard Companies, Els started her career as a consultant at a leading global consultancy firm and continued with a firm that uniquely specialized in training and consultancy services in the area of globalization, mergers and acquisitions, and intercultural management.
Els received a bachelor of liberal arts degree and a master of arts degree in Middle Eastern studies from the University of Leuven, Belgium. She furthered her education and obtained a second master’s degree in international studies from the Graduate Institute of International Studies at the University of Geneva, Switzerland.
